About the Hoopstars
Coach Alphonso Jordan is from the United States and has lived in Sydney for the past 15 years.
He was an All-American in American football at university and state champion in athletics in high school, so he knows about competing.
He led a winning team with his brother as an assistant at Cleveland High School before moving to Sydney, where he has been coaching at Cranbrook Senior School for the past 14 years.
Alphonso also currently runs the Sydney Comets Learn-to-Play program in Maroubra.
At Hoopstars, we pride ourselves on having coaches that are experienced, reliable and above all, good with children.
